A great surprise for Marvel fans is that the first trailer for “Daredevil: Born Again” is now available, making a furor of suspense for the soon-to-air Disney Plus show. Expected to be shown on March 4, 2025, the series sees a reappearance of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/’Daredevil’ and the notable revival of Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, his most iconic villain-oops, I mean, now mayor of Hells Kitchen bragging about the Hellringers.
The trailer first opens with action sequences that toy with the viewers’ emotions, leaves their hearts palpitating and hunger for more. At the same time, this violent jungle environment is playing in the background and just like the fans envisioned, it is the kind of atmosphere the audience enjoyed as seen in the Netflix contrast. Also, we are privileged to see the familiar face of Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) who come back on set, the latter having brought Jon Bernthal with him in the role of Frank Castle, the Punisher, who is yet to confirm his part, of course. Furthermore, in this season, viewers meet Hector Ayala, a.k.a White Tiger (Kamar de los Reyes), and Muse, a new villain.
Nostalgic Revival: The Viral “Daredevil Dog” Video
If it was not the trailer that tickled your fancy, a touching but still sad video with the “Daredevil Dog” has been re-posted and gone viral again, to pair fans’ cause even through the ripples of excitement. The original photo, which then came out in 2016, starred Bodhi, who, cloaked in the Fearless Devil mask, was sitting still at the couch. The clip with Bodhi and the frog with the lead singer’s face, which frequently was shared with a Lithuanian pop hit “Nebesup (Let me not)” also during the Halloween period, became a popular meme and was used in many TikTok accounts.
Bodhi, unfortunately, was plotted just later in 2016 after his internet fame and so, his death has become a heartrending feature of the recent reemergence of the video. The fans are heart warming the social media platforms and others by their tributes, “Daredevil Dog” memes, spreading their joy of laughter, and bringing a little light within the dark world of internet.
Social Media Frenzy
The new teaser of “Daredevil: Born Again” along with the video of Bodhi which has come back to the social media limelight, have elated a majority of the netizens at places such as Twitter, TikTok and Reddit. Tags like #DaredevilBornAgain and #DaredevilDog have taken over the trendlist, with fans eagerly sharing their thoughts and predictions for the series along with all the nostalgia of the meme days
Given Marvel’s record for excellent plotlines through carefully planned dialogues and following a large line of fans, “Daredevil: Born Again” will be the talk of the town in 2025. Moreover, Bodhi’s name as the “Daredevil Dog” becomes a memorable piece in our memory lane of how even the least expected moments of a pop culture can create a strong connection with our feelings.
